Christopher Braun, President

After graduating from Vanderbilt with a B.S in Economics, he began work with Merrill Lynch on Wall Street. After working as a financial consultant, and then on the Institutional Equity Trading Desk for Merrill Lynch and Goldman Sachs, he left to form the first of his companies. In 2001, he returned to Law School in Boston, MA. After focusing on insurance and retirement planning, Christopher achieved the #2 new agent spot out of 6000 agents nationally with the company, in his first year in the insurance business. The next year he was promoted to Branch Manager, of which he was again the #2 new manager out of 178 nationally.

Building on this success, Christopher left to form Capitol Direct Financial which is now in the top 10 nationwide with Carriers that it represents in the categories of Life and Annuity sales. Capitol Direct has agents in 5 states in the U.S., and continues to grow its primary practice in Northern California. Christopher has a wonderful wife, son and daughter, and is a commercial rated pilot and cyclist. He is a passionate aircraft builder and owns The Clecall Company, an aircraft tool manufacturer that rose out of tools he patented while building various aircraft. He continues to operate multiple companies in addition to Capitol Direct, and looks forward to opportunities as they arise.

Steven C. Thomas, II, Vice President

Steven Thomas II was born and raised in rural Placer County, California. He is married to Kathryn and has 5 children and currently resides in Wheatland, a small town in rural Yuba County. After completing high school he entered the construction field and retail management field to feed his growing family. After several years, he decided to make a dramatic change so that he could see the world, and joined the U.S. Army in Field Artillery.  After 4 years in the Army, he came home during tough economic times and found a way to help people once again by pursuing a career in the Insurance Field to help families protect themselves in many different facets.
